I’m a Winner!
It’s a dream come true –literally, I just realized.
I’m having a deja-vu as I type this. I’m remembering now that I had a dream that I won a Scrabble tournament in New York and, well, here I am!
It wasn’t an official tournament, just the weekly meeting of the Scrabble club #56 –but it was official and timed and everything. I went 4-0, with a point spread of +167ish. I played 6 bingos.
I can say with a mix of equal pride and chagrin that it’s the proudest night I’ve had in a year. Hooray!/Sigh.
Congratulations, JK… quite an achievement.
Maybe you and Christopher Guest could have a live Scrabble showdown on the show someday.
