On Paul Goebel’s podcast, we talked about our appearance at the Hollywood Hasbeen Show, or more officially known as the Hollywood Collector’s Show. I was thinking about it this weekend because the awards luncheon of the Game Show Congress took place in the Grand Ballroom of the Beverly Garland Hotel. The last time I was there? When Paul, Andy, Marc, and I set up a table and sold our signatures for $5 each.
Here’s a photo of me at the table at the end of the event, and the expression should tell you everything you need to know about how well it went.
To be fair, we did break even on the cost of printing all those photographs. About 500 of which I threw away 6 months later.
Aw, JK. I would have bought an autograph off of you had I known you then. I might even have gone as high as $5.10!
I would’ve paid to see that!!! Could’ve added it to the LATE NIGHT pic I have.
