On the one hand, it’s nice to see people out marching for a cause. On the other hand, it’s weird that it’s for themselves. And that the themselves are people who make things like National Treasure: Book of Secrets.

Still, I’m a union man, and I think it’s important to show solidarity. Unions are a dying breed, and strong unions are nearly extinct. I’m of the opinion that treating workers well, no matter what the field (yes, even those who make National Treasure: Book of Secrets) helps people everywhere and ultimately moves humanity forward.

Plus, this picket line is about 200 yards from my apartment, my good friend is working the guild table, and there’s free pizza (courtesy of Drew Carey).
