Show-Stoppers
Yes, all the authors were great in the StorySwap show last night, but I think everyone will agree that the highlight was when two people from the audience were called on stage by Ophira Eisenberg (pictured far right) to read an excerpt from Mark Katz’s piece. They renacted a transcript of a phone call where two pizza restaurant workers were unwittingly patched into one another and ended up bickering with typical New York panache.
It was hilarious, and no one was laughing harder than my sister and me.
That’s our dad on the left and our stepmom in the middle.
