We’ve got panels for our first 2 shows booked. They are hot ones.

March 31: Jonathan Ames, Frank DeCaro, Laurie Kilmartin, Pia Lindstrom

Betsy Palmer was on the original TV show. So was Pia Lindstrom. I was surprised to learn this, as I knew her mostly as an entertainment reporter, but she remembered it clearly. We’re getting her DVDs of her appearances and I’ll look forward to watching them first.

Jonathan Ames, an award-winning author, did our show when he was visiting LA long ago, but he is distinctly a New Yorker and is just the kind of author-raconteur they would have had on the original (although the subject matter of his writing is a bit more ribald than John Daly would have preferred to discuss). I’m thrilled that he’s filling the last slot on the 31st. Frank’s done the show twice in LA and is always a pleasure. Laurie is the only real rookie, but is such a pro on “Best Week Ever” and I love her writing on 236.com.

What I’m saying is… COME TO THE SHOW!!
