Me On TV

I’m Wild on E!

Recommended by the Los Angeles Times, Forth Worth Star Telegram, and the influential Hartford Courant. Described by its own press release as “We’ve got homicidal monkeys, super-sexy hamburgers and sofa-buying Martians!”

What could it be? Why, another one of those clip shows where I make wacky comments. This one: “Wildest TV Commercial Moments” on E! –airing all week and beyond. Just to get you started…

More Boobs, Please

E!’s “Wildest Spring Break Moments” just didn’t have enough moments did it?

Fear not, there’s more. The sequel is already ready to go, premiering Friday 4/11 at 10:30pm and rerunning forever all over the world on E! Entertainment Television.

Enjoy!

My New Balls

Here’s a me-centric mini-version of the pilot I did in January called “Balls of Steel.” It was to be for A&E, but alas, they passed. Apparently there was not enough A nor E for them (though I maintain we delivered plenty in the “&” department). There are zillions of clips from the British version of the show on YouTube. Apparently it’s a huge hit over there. It’s also gotten traction in other markets around the world. Perhaps it will still find life on another American outlet. Whatever happens, I’m glad I got to keep the shirt that Michael Davies bought for me to wear. In fact, I wore it on my last pilot. Hopefully that show doesn’t suffer a similar fate.

It’s the Fuzz

Cheez It!

OK, here’s the ad I’m barely in. I finally found it online. That’s me at the top of the scaffolding, pushing the giant boulder on to the catapult. That is not me, by the way, ducking when the boulder flies over.

Mock if you must, but this is what gets me health insurance next year.

Thanks to the folks at Woolly Mammoth Studio, the folks who provided the score for the ad, for posting and hosting it.

Showbiz!

Today I’m going to the first rehearsal for an exciting new project I’m shooting next week. My co-star is a chimpanzee.

I’m not kidding.

My goal: Not to have feces thrown at me. At least not by the monkey.

Here I am taping it…

Yes, I’m that excited.

I think I was upset cuz the t-shirt I’d specially chosen to display had lettering on it that was JUST too green, and would’ve messed up the green screen effects.

Plus, I needed a haircut.

It’s important to look one’s best when appearing in bubble on basic cable.

Next time, I will salute you, Sarah Lawrence College football!

E! Marks The Spot

Taped another talking-head show for E! today. This one is “Wildest Wedding Show Moments” and should premiere in late October. It has 25 craaazy clips from shows like “Bridezilla” and the ilk. It’s easy to make fun of and I do!

It’s The Cheez

I shot a Cheez-It commercial a few months ago. I finally have started seeing it –two times this morning on the same program (I guess folks who watch “Top Chef” repeats like dairy-inspired snack crackers).

You can’t see my face, alas, but I swear it’s me. I’m the guy on top of the large platform, pushing, like Sisyphus, a big foam rock into a catapult.

Want proof? Here’s a photo.

Apparently I was on TV today

Actually I knew I would be, but I didn’t see or DVR it. It was the E! “Wildest Dating Moments 2″ show. Oh boy! At the time of airing, I was uploading photos from my phone so I could start sharing them with you, my blog reader(s).

What kinds of photos? Oh, ones like… THIS!

It looks like I’m meditating, having achieved the pure bliss of being in the Angels dugout. In fact I am holding a bag of sunflower seeds I found there. Nirvana indeed.

Dis-Appearances

I updated my Appearances page. Just in case none of you have a time machine to go back to the shows you missed in June.

I also added info on how to find the reruns of “Beat The Geeks” they’ve been showing in Canada. They apparently are showing the 65 episodes from the run I hosted (which I refer to as the Premiere and Penultimate season). I was reluctant to plug them cuz I’m not getting paid for the reruns, even though they are literally showing them four times a day, five days a week. (That’s 20 times per week –even in Canadian.)

People still ask me about the show so I guess there’s no harm in sending folks to watch. It’s up to you, my neighbors to the north! If there’s enough demand, hopefully the network there will air them enough that I’ll actually start to get some coin.

But I’m not counting on it.
