J. Keith Sez...
Vet & Rookie: Kate Linder joins our panel for the sixth time, G. Charles Wright for the first... Soap maker Jim Derner was booked for the show when he had the best-smelling booth at the Culver City Farmer's Market... Rich Fields tapes his show directly across the hall from where panelist Kate Linder taps hers; they had never met before tonight... J. Keith got to fulfill a childhood dream when Rich Fields called out "J. Keith van Straaten: Come On Down!"... Doug Legacy also played a tune on the accordion, a perfect lead-in for our Mystery Guest... "Weird Al" was a guest on J. Keith's old talk show too... A few weeks before the show, panelist G. Charles Wright had offered to help book "Weird Al" as a Mystery Guest, not knowing that Al has already been booked... Tonight's panel was 2-for-4; they guessed "Makes Soap" and the identity of our Mystery Guest; they were one question away from guessing the whistler... "Weird Al" stepped on a doormat provided by our sponsor Poopycaca.com, which was then auctioned on eBay; it sold for $301, all of which went to the Red Cross for Hurricane Katrina relief!
